Balboa Park Botanical Building and Lily Pond

The Botanical Building in Balboa Park was constructed for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition and is one of the world's largest lath structures. The building and adjoining Lily Pond display thousands of plant specimens, including orchids, ferns, and cycads, maintained by park horticultural staff.
