Nathaniel Rust Mansion

The Nathaniel Rust Mansion, located at 83 County Street in Ipswich, Massachusetts, is a historic colonial-style house with origins dating back to the First Period. Built around 1665, it was originally owned by tanner Nathaniel Rust after being sold by Deacon William Goodhue. The mansion was relocated in 1837 and modified to reflect Federalist architectural style. As one of the oldest houses in Ipswich, it offers a glimpse into the region's rich history and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, making it a significant site for both tourists and researchers interested in early American architecture.
