Vista House

Vista House is a historic museum and memorial located at Crown Point in Multnomah County, Oregon, perched 733 feet above the Columbia River Gorge. Designed by architect Edgar M. Lazarus in the Art Nouveau style, this octagonal stone building was completed in 1918 and features a stunning marble interior and brass fixtures. Originally conceived as an observatory, it offers breathtaking views of the Columbia River and surrounding landscapes. After extensive restoration, it reopened in 2005 and is now a popular stop for travelers on the Historic Columbia River Highway, providing access to panoramic vistas of Portland and beyond.
