Elkins Milling Company

Elkins Milling Company, also known as Darden's Mill, is a historic grist mill located in Elkins, West Virginia. Built in 1902, this three-story timber frame structure served as a grain mill and feed store for the local community. Today, it houses the Appalachian Forest Discovery Center, which showcases the region's natural, cultural, and industrial heritage, and serves as a community gathering space. The mill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005, making it a notable destination for tourists and researchers interested in West Virginia's history.
