Scholz Garten, established in 1866 by German immigrant August Scholz, is a historic beer garden and restaurant located in downtown Austin, Texas. The venue features a vintage bowling alley, one of the oldest in the U.S., and has been recognized as a Texas Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
