Candlestick Park (former stadium)

Candlestick Park opened in 1960 on San Francisco's southeast waterfront and served as the home stadium for the NFL's San Francisco 49ers and, earlier, the MLB's San Francisco Giants. The stadium hosted professional football and baseball games as well as concerts over several decades. It was closed after the 2013 baseball season and demolished in stages between 2015 and 2019. The stadium structure no longer exists and the site has been cleared for redevelopment.
