Fair Mount

Fair Mount is a historic house in Winchester, Virginia, built around 1809 by Lewis Barnett for merchant Joseph Tidball. This two-story, five-bay stone dwelling showcases a blend of Late Georgian and Federal architectural styles. In 1929, it underwent remodeling in the Colonial Revival style, adding formal gardens and a garage. Recognized for its historical significance, Fair Mount was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004 and is situated within the Winchester Historic District, making it a noteworthy destination for tourists and researchers alike.
