The Long Center upper terraces and performance lawn

The Long Center for the Performing Arts (opened in 2008) has upper terraces and an outdoor performance lawn that provide elevated views across Lady Bird Lake toward downtown Austin and Zilker Park. The terraces are used for public events and as vantage points for the skyline, and they are reachable from the center's public areas on non-restricted event days. The facility's design intentionally frames the lake and skyline as part of its civic-facing views.
