Duo, located in Hervanta, Tampere, Finland, is a vibrant shopping center that combines modern retail with historical architecture. Originally completed in 1979 and designed by renowned architects Raili and Reima Pietilä, the mall features a unique blend of Art Nouveau elements reminiscent of European market halls and department stores. With over 11,700 square meters of retail space, visitors can explore three major grocery stores, specialty shops, restaurants, and various commercial services. An extension completed in 2007 doubled its size, enhancing its appeal. The mall's design aims to improve the aesthetic of Hervanta, making it a significant landmark for both tourists and locals alike.
