Haden Opera House

The Haden Opera House, built in 1878 and opened in 1884 in Columbia, Missouri, was a prominent performance venue that could seat 1,246 people. It featured two balconies and four private boxes, and notably hosted the first movie screening in Columbia. Unfortunately, the historic opera house was destroyed by a fire on February 23, 1901, marking the end of its vibrant cultural contributions.
