Brinkerhoff–Becker House

The Brinkerhoff–Becker House, located at 601 West Forest Avenue in Ypsilanti, Michigan, is a historic Queen Anne-style home built between 1863 and 1869. Designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1977 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, this architectural gem features a striking round tower and intricate sunburst-pattern gable ornaments. Originally owned by insurance agent Hezekiah H. Brinkerhoff, the house has a rich history, including ownership by early educational leaders and a transformation into apartments. Today, it is owned by Eastern Michigan University, offering a glimpse into the area's architectural heritage.
