Hotel del Coronado - Kate Morgan legend

The Hotel del Coronado opened in 1888 as a large Victorian beachfront resort. In November 1892 a guest, Kate Morgan, was found dead of a gunshot wound while staying at the hotel; the circumstances of her death have been debated by historians. Morgan’s story has spawned longstanding local ghost stories and the hotel is frequently cited on San Diego ghost tours and in paranormal accounts.
