Seattle Central Library (Rem Koolhaas design)

The Seattle Central Library, designed by Rem Koolhaas (OMA) with LMN Architects, opened to the public in 2004 and is noted for its glass-and-steel, irregular geometric form. The 11-story central branch of the Seattle Public Library system reorganized public library functions into distinct, visible spaces and received widespread attention from architects and critics.
