Abbott Graves House

The Abbott Graves House, located at 86 Ocean Avenue in Kennebunkport, Maine, is a historic residence built in 1905 by artist Abbott Fuller Graves. Notable for its Prairie School architectural style, it is one of only two such examples in Maine and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. The house features a unique design with a broad hipped roof, white stucco finish, and asymmetrical window arrangements, reflecting influences from renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Graves lived in the house until his death in 1936, making it a significant site for both architectural enthusiasts and history buffs.
