Grove Building

The Grove Building is a notable structure at Swansea University, located in the picturesque Singleton Park, Wales. Originally established as the Chemistry Building in 1961, it was designed by the Sir Percy Thomas Partnership. The building was renamed in the 1990s to honor Sir William Grove, a pioneer in electrochemistry. Its unique layout features a central spine corridor flanked by academic offices, laboratories, and lecture theatres, including the Grove and Purnell lecture theatres. Today, it serves as a hub for the Medical School, Pharmacy, and Chemistry, making it a significant site for academic research and education.
