Terre Haute Post Office and Federal Building

The Terre Haute Post Office and Federal Building is a historic site in Terre Haute, Indiana, originally opened in 1887. The current structure, built in 1934 as part of a Public Works Project under President Franklin D. Roosevelt, features a striking PWA Moderne design by local architects Miller & Yeager. It housed various federal agencies, including the FBI and IRS, and boasts a courtroom mural depicting 'The Signing of the Magna Carta.' Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, the building underwent a $30 million renovation and now serves as the Indiana State University Scott College of Business, welcoming students since Fall 2012.
