National Bank of North Philadelphia

The National Bank of North Philadelphia, also known as the Beury Building, is a historic Art Deco bank building located in the Nicetown-Tioga neighborhood of Philadelphia. Constructed in 1926, it features a striking limestone, brick, and terra cotta facade topped with a pyramidal roof. The building has a rich history, serving various roles including a rationing board office during World War II and housing a radio station. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1985. After years of vacancy, plans have been announced to transform the building into a hotel with retail spaces, while preserving its iconic graffiti tags, making it a unique attraction for visitors and researchers alike.
