Hilaaleege

Hilaaleege serves as the official residence of the Vice President of the Maldives, located in the capital city of Malé. Originally the Presidential Palace of Ibrahim Nasir, it was repurposed in 1981 after being seized by the state. The building has historical significance and reflects the political changes in the Maldives, particularly during the presidency of Mohamed Nasheed when it was designated for the Vice President's use.
