Towles Farmstead

Towles Farmstead, also known as Goshen Plantation and Plainsfield, is a historic farmstead located near Meggett in Charleston County, South Carolina. This national historic district features 11 contributing buildings, including two early-20th century residences showcasing Neo-Classical, Bungalow, Colonial Revival, and Italian Renaissance architectural styles. The site, which also includes various utility outbuildings, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994, making it a significant destination for tourists and researchers interested in American history and architecture.
