Dallas Zoo

Founded in 1888, the Dallas Zoo is one of the oldest zoological institutions in Texas and sits on land south of downtown Dallas. The zoo's Giants of the Savanna exhibit recreates an African savanna habitat for animals such as elephants and giraffes. Dallas Zoo runs conservation and education initiatives and hosts seasonal events and animal encounters for visitors.
