Oak Crest

Oak Crest, also known as the Cutchin Home and Holland-Cutchin House, is a historic house located in Franklin, Isle of Wight County, Virginia. Built between 1799 and 1810, this Federal-style dwelling features a two-story, three-bay design with a side-passage plan. The property includes later additions such as a rear ell and wings constructed in the early 20th century, along with several outbuildings like a smokehouse, poultry shelter, horse barn, and pumphouse, all dating from around 1930. Oak Crest was recognized for its historical significance by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
