Mayurov House

Mayurov House, also known as the Roundhouse, is a notable architectural landmark in the heart of Odesa, Ukraine, situated on Hretska Ploshcha. Originally constructed in the 1840s by architect Ivan Dallakva for Russian colonel Aleksey Mayurov, the building has a rich history, including a significant reconstruction in 1894. It has served various roles over the years, including housing a museum and being a focal point during the 2014 Odesa clashes. Although the original structure was demolished in 1996, the façade remains, and the site now hosts the modern Athena shopping center.
