Dupont Underground (former Dupont Circle streetcar station)

The Dupont Underground occupies the abandoned subterranean streetcar station beneath Dupont Circle and was repurposed as an arts and cultural space. The site preserves concrete platforms and vaulted tunnel spaces from Washington's mid-20th-century streetcar system. Today it hosts rotating exhibitions, performances, and community programming in the former transit chambers.
