Ford Piquette Avenue Plant

The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant was built for early Ford production and used by the Ford Motor Company from 1904 to 1910; it is the site where the Ford Model T was developed and first built. The building now operates as a museum preserving early Ford vehicles, factory artifacts, and exhibits on automotive design and manufacturing. The Piquette Plant is an important site in the history of automotive innovation in Detroit.
