Stock Judging Pavilion (Oskaloosa, Iowa)

The Stock Judging Pavilion, a historic building in Oskaloosa, Iowa, was constructed in 1919 by local contractor P.W. Sparks. Located on the Southern Iowa Fairgrounds, it served as a key venue during the Southern Iowa Fair, which was the second largest fair in the state at the time. The pavilion originally featured a distinctive double monitor roof, although the upper section was removed before 1945. Recognized for its historical significance, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, making it an interesting site for tourists and researchers alike.
