Yeni Mosque, Thessaloniki

The Yeni Mosque, built in 1902 by Italian architect Vitaliano Poselli, is a notable example of eclectic architecture in Thessaloniki, Greece. Originally constructed for the Dönmeh community, it is the last mosque built during the Ottoman era in the city. After the population exchange in 1923, the mosque was abandoned and repurposed as an archaeological museum until 1962.
