St. Johns Bridge (Cathedral Park)

St. Johns Bridge is a Gothic-style suspension bridge that spans the Willamette River in north Portland. It opened to traffic on June 13, 1931. Cathedral Park lies directly beneath the bridge's western approach and has hosted the annual Cathedral Park Jazz Festival, a long-running community music event. The bridge is noted for its tall, cathedral-like towers and steel-suspension design.
