Arizona State Capitol (Capitol Museum)

The Arizona State Capitol building was completed in 1901 and served as the territorial and early state capitol of Arizona. It remained the seat of state government until the mid-20th century when newer legislative buildings were added nearby. The original sandstone building now houses the Arizona Capitol Museum, preserving legislative chambers, period rooms, and exhibits about Arizona's governmental history.
