Philadelphia Masonic Temple's hidden interiors

The Masonic Temple at 1 North Broad Street, completed in the 1870s, is the headquarters of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania and a National Historic Landmark. The building contains multiple lodge rooms each decorated in distinct historical and symbolic styles with carved wood, stained glass, murals, and ornate furnishings. Those interiors are not visible from the street and are primarily accessible through guided tours, making the richly appointed rooms a concealed experience amid Broad Street's commercial frontage. The Temple remains an active Masonic meeting place as well as a site for public tours and events.
