The Park Shelton

The Park Shelton, located at 15 East Kirby Street in Midtown Detroit, is a historic condominium building originally constructed in 1926 as The Wardell hotel. Designed by notable architects Weston and Ellington, it features architectural sculptures by Corrado Parducci. The building has a rich history, having housed famous artists Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo during their time in Detroit. Over the years, it transitioned from a hotel to apartments and was ultimately redeveloped into luxury condominiums in 2004, offering a glimpse into Detroit's architectural heritage and celebrity past.
