Old Town Hall (Vordingborg)

Vordingborg Old Town Hall, completed in 1845 and designed by Peter Kornerup, is the first Historicist town hall in Denmark, showcasing a blend of Gothic and Neoclassical architecture. Located on Slotstorvet, opposite the Vordingborg Castle ruins, it was listed as a protected building in 1977. After being decommissioned in 1999, it underwent extensive renovations and now serves as the local tourist information center and the administration for Danmarks Borgcenter, making it a key stop for visitors interested in the area's history and culture.
