2001 MLB All-Star Game at Safeco Field

Safeco Field (now T-Mobile Park) hosted the 2001 Major League Baseball All-Star Game on July 10, 2001. The event included the All-Star Game and associated festivities such as the Home Run Derby. Safeco Field opened in 1999 and the 2001 All-Star Game was one of the ballpark's early major national events. The stadium remains the longtime home of the Seattle Mariners.
