Carpenter Homestead

The Carpenter Homestead, also known as Osamequin Farm, is a historic colonial American house and farm located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. Spanning 166 acres, this property features a farmhouse and outbuildings with a construction history dating back to around 1720. The main house is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure that has undergone several alterations and was sensitively restored in the 1940s. The property, which includes significant farmland, was owned by the Carpenter family for over two centuries, making it one of Seekonk's oldest houses. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993, making it a noteworthy site for tourists and researchers interested in colonial history and architecture.
