Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum

The outdoor memorial marks the site of the April 19, 1995 bombing and features the Field of Empty Chairs, with 168 empty chairs representing each person killed. The memorial also includes the Reflecting Pool, the Gates of Time, and the Survivor Tree, an American elm that survived the blast. The museum on site documents the events of the bombing, the rescue and recovery efforts, and the community response in exhibit spaces and oral histories.
