Dairy Block (adaptive-reuse of 19th-century dairy warehouse)

The Dairy Block building in LoDo dates to the late 19th century when it served as a wholesale dairy and warehouse for downtown Denver. In the 21st century the block was rehabilitated into a mixed-use development that incorporates the historic masonry facades while adding retail, dining, and hotel functions. The project is widely cited as an example of preserving and reusing historic commercial infrastructure in Lower Downtown.
