Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum's enclosed courtyard

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum is organized around an interior, Venetian-style courtyard garden that is enclosed within the museum's walls and not a public park. The courtyard, planted and furnished with sculptures, fountains, and seasonally changing displays, functions as a private central garden visible from surrounding galleries.
