Transbay (Salesforce) Transit Center and Salesforce Park

The Transbay Transit Center, which opened for bus service in 2018, is a regional transportation hub built to consolidate several transit services in downtown San Francisco. The project includes Salesforce Park, a publicly accessible 5.4-acre rooftop park and botanical walk above the center that features landscaped gardens, walking paths, and programmed public spaces. The center was designed to serve as both a transit facility and an urban public amenity as part of the broader Transbay redevelopment.
