Azerbaijan Football Academy

The Azerbaijan Football Academy, established on February 23, 2009, serves as a premier youth training facility for aspiring footballers in Azerbaijan. Officially opened by UEFA vice president Şenes Erzik, the academy boasts state-of-the-art training amenities, including multiple grass pitches, a floodlit synthetic pitch, and specialized areas for fitness and goalkeeping. Additional facilities include a gym, indoor training pitch, hydrotherapy pools, spa, sauna, physiotherapy rooms, and a media center. The academy has attracted notable visitors, such as former Spain national team captain Fernando Hierro, and is dedicated to nurturing young talent for the future of Azerbaijani football.
