Friedrichsbau (Heidelberg)

Constructed between 1862 and 1863 for the Ruprecht-Karls-University Heidelberg, this chateau-like structure reflects the growing significance of natural sciences during its time. Originally housing various scientific institutes, it later served as residences for university professors, including notable physicists like Hermann von Helmholtz.
