Dallas World Aquarium

Dallas World Aquarium opened in 1992 in the West End Historic District and is housed in several renovated 19th-century warehouse buildings. The institution features a multi-level rainforest exhibit with free-flight birds and tropical plants, alongside marine and freshwater habitats that display species from around the world. It participates in rescue, rehabilitation, and conservation programs and offers educational programming for school groups and visitors.
