Texas Instruments - Jack Kilby Integrated Circuit Invention

Engineer Jack Kilby built the first working integrated circuit in 1958 at Texas Instruments' Central Research Laboratories in Dallas. Kilby's work at TI in Dallas directly contributed to the development of the modern semiconductor industry. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2000 for the invention of the integrated circuit.
