Dupont Underground

Dupont Underground occupies an unused streetcar tunnel beneath Dupont Circle and operates as an arts and events space. The tunnel was part of Washington's early-to-mid 20th-century streetcar infrastructure and was later repurposed for cultural programming. Since opening as a public art venue in the 2010s, Dupont Underground has hosted exhibitions, immersive installations, concerts, and community events.
