Pulitzer Fountain - Pomona (Karl Bitter)

The Pulitzer Fountain features a central bronze sculpture of Pomona by Karl Bitter and was funded by newspaper publisher Joseph Pulitzer. The fountain was installed at Grand Army Plaza near the southeast corner of Central Park and dedicated in 1916. It has been restored multiple times and remains a prominent ornamental fountain and public artwork adjacent to the Plaza Hotel.
