Kingsley Plantation tabby ruins

Kingsley Plantation, part of Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve, preserves plantation-era structures including a main house, kitchen, barn ruins, and distinctive tabby slave quarters. The site contains a rare two-story tabby slave house and other tabby construction dating to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The plantation documents the history of the enslaved people who worked on Fort George Island and is managed by the National Park Service.
