Preston Bradley Center

The Preston Bradley Center, located in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood, is a historic building constructed in 1925 and designed by architect J.E.O. Pridmore. Recognized for its cultural significance, it was added to the Federal Register of Historic Places in 2000 and is in the process of being designated as a historic landmark by the City of Chicago. Named after pastor Preston Bradley, the center features an auditorium with two balconies and a mural by artist Louis Grell, as well as Mason Hall, which showcases artwork reflecting Bradley's connections to the Masons. The building has a rich history, having been occupied by Peoples Church and later sold to a local orthopedist in 2022, making it a notable site for both tourists and researchers interested in Chicago's architectural and cultural heritage.
