Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River

The Dad Vail Regatta is an annual collegiate rowing competition held on the Schuylkill River near Boathouse Row in Philadelphia that was first run in 1934. It is widely described as the largest regular intercollegiate regatta in the United States, drawing over 100 colleges and thousands of athletes in typical years. The event traditionally takes place in late April on the stretch of river adjacent to Boathouse Row.
