Elvis Presley House
By Seeker
The Elvis Presley House, located in Memphis, Tennessee, is a historic ranch-style home where the iconic singer lived with his parents from March 1956 to March 1957. Purchased by Elvis at just 21 years old, the house became a hotspot for fans and media after the success of his hit 'Heartbreak Hotel.' Notable features included a large swimming pool, which was the biggest residential pool in the city at the time, and a motorcycle garage. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006 and is currently owned by the Mike Curb Family Foundation, which supports music education. While not open to the public, it occasionally hosts private events and concerts, making it a unique site for both tourists and researchers interested in music history.
