Belmont Park and the Giant Dipper roller coaster

Belmont Park is a historic oceanfront amusement park on Mission Beach that opened in 1925. The park’s Giant Dipper wooden roller coaster was also built in 1925 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Belmont Park remains a local cultural destination for seaside recreation, historic rides, and community events.
