Institute of Texan Cultures - HemisFair '68 technology and industry exhibits

The Institute of Texan Cultures opened in 1968 as the Texas Pavilion for HemisFair '68 and hosted exhibits highlighting Texas industry, engineering, and technological developments of the era. During HemisFair '68 the pavilion presented demonstrations and displays on contemporary industrial processes and regional technological achievements, making the site part of San Antonio's mid-20th-century public tech history. The institute later became a museum dedicated to Texas cultural and technological heritage.
