San Antonio Zoo

The San Antonio Zoo, established in 1914, is located in Brackenridge Park and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The zoo houses indoor and outdoor habitats for a wide range of mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians and runs educational and conservation programs. It sits adjacent to the Japanese Tea Garden and is part of the Museum Reach area of the San Antonio River Walk.
